Student Scholarships
Deadline: 30 April, 2021

The ALIFE 2021 Organizing Committee cordially invites all students to attend the Virtual 2021 Conference on Artificial Life (ALIFE 2021), 19-23 July 2021. We offer a limited number of Student Scholarships in the form of free conference tickets for students. Interested students should fill this application form no later than April 30, 2021.

This scholarship is designed to give students an opportunity to attend the ALIFE 2021 conference in the case that they have no funding to attend it. Attendance at the ALIFE 2021 conference will introduce you to the artificial life community, establish valuable contacts with current artificial life researchers, provide the opportunity to practice your presentation and communication skills, and introduce you to projects currently underway in our community.

The scholarship is open to both undergraduate and PhD students. Applicants must be current students (full or part-time) working towards a degree or certificate in an accredited college or university. The degree or program the applicant is working towards can have an emphasis on artificial field, but it is not limited to. Students from any discipline are welcome.
Awards will be granted to applicants meeting the eligibility requirements and selected by the ALIFE 2021 organising committee based on their evaluation of the applicant’s submission. Awards will include the free conference ticket. Only students receiving an award (confirmed by organizers) are allowed to select "Free Ticket" option in the conference registration form.
